Portarlington MediCentre is delighted to inform you that from March 2020 it is now possible to book and pay online for a routine 15-minute consultation through the new Online Appointment System. When you visit our website at www.medicentre.ie you will notice the icon “Book an Appointment” displayed on our website. This will provide you with easier access to book your appointment with your doctors at a time that suits you.
When you click on this icon the doctor names will be shown on the screen. Click on your preferred doctor, click Book an Appointment, and click Consultation. Simply select the day and time that is convenient for you and click next.
For your first time using this system, you will need to set up an account. Once you have registered you are then asked to confirm your appointment.
Please note – Booking Online is not part of the GMS Contract
Enter your credit/debit card details to make payment and click finish. You will then receive a confirmation email.
Your payment is non-refundable unless cancellation occurs at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time.
Please note – if you need to book a Smear, Mirena Coil, Implanon, Minor procedure, 2 week or 6-week baby check, Joint Injection, an extended consultation time, or an appointment with our nurse – you will need to continue to book your appointment through the traditional ways.
